First of all Thanks for my bloggers who r taking time to read this article& its time to thank rock solid, kaizer,revolution,revenge my counter parts whom I have pained (or) they have the pain in there asses in all my works when some of us have started our community we have suffered a lot of dark strategies from the internet dudes even though we have been (or) being able to defend this strategies but the constant treats are from viruses though in earlier stages we have strived to develop our own antivirus solution and have been bit successful with it but updating it have become a serious problem because we couldn’t except any ordinary viruses from the so called hack masters. Believe it or not but some viruses which normal user have been facing today are experienced by us during the fall of 2004 and earlier part of2005 so, it is understandable that the virus maker run there test on secret forums, sites for months(or) years .so , in the earlier phase of the antivirus technology a remedy for a virus was developed only after the viruses was developed so, there has been always a chance that the virus reached the user first then the update .but after miracle idea of "preventing a future virus" have struck the experts things have become tight . This is the original idea that different companies call it with different names like pro active defense (kaspersky), tru protection (panda)….. So, our development of an antivirus ended their and then and have been using the mks_vir (Poland)

This antivirus packages select are anti viruses that have been in the top ten in some or the sci-fi mags or have been among rated lists of some hack groups (or) crack developers
We did a lot of bench mark tests on all the anti virus packages available for us by exposing this antivirus to highest & critical viruses available on the net and some thru unknown virus makers and thus we finalized the list of the top 10 and it has been a cake walk for top 3 but we struck here on how to give ratings among the top three antivirus package they are

Mks_vir (Poland)

AVK_eXtendia

As mentioned earlier it has been easy for us to decide the top 3 because they have constant performance of 100% in the last 1000 days and has been at least performing rate of 99.5% in the last 4to5 year.
Why kas... Is the best????
It’s because of all factors we have taken into account although at performance level all are the same with negligible 0.001 marginal differences in performance
Size:
Size all always matter’s thought it not the age we think abt MB’s but it in turn reflects memory usage, execution time... Etc. Here is the cash point for kaspersky it just under 25mb as executable file and after installation it’s just fewer than 16mb+13MB of threat signature database
Defense& future virus protection technologies:
All the 3 have good virus protection technologies(reactive) for already know virus threats and they are also excellent with future virus protection technologies as well we have test for more than 500 viruses in the last 3 years out which nearly 175 odd virus are of future virus for this antivirus packages here is where mks is little bit superior to kaspersky.mks detected all 175 odd malicious code as threats while kaspersky detected 174 as dangerous threat and 1 as risk ware and a similar case with extendia
Kaspersky termed there future virus protection technology as "pro active defense".
Updates, update availability:
Kaspersky is the world leader in updating .they updates there antivirus for every 1 hour and updates can be done directly (automatic) (or) u can manually download them from there well designed site depending on the time duration u have not updated ur kaspersky .
If it’s few days then u go for daily update zip file
If already a week past then goes for weekly zip file
If it has been along time since u made an update then its time for u to download cummlative.zip
None of the other antiviruses come close to it. Not even mks, extendia, bitdefender
Search methods...
Kaspersky start with a boot scan, critical area and then go for the other part this method highly opposes the effect of virus on the antivirus package making the chances of failing an anti virus small. Mks and extendia start their scan in the same method. These anti viruses do not go on by themselves for a virus search from time to time they just keep a watch on system files and other removable object when something outside is trying access a system files then they check the file for malicious sample in it. Or when some code from removable device tries to gain access into pc without user knowledge then they check such files for malicious code samples
Trail availability:
Kaspersky (kaspersky.com) &mks (in softpedia.com) are available for trail downloads while the only option for extendia is to go for a buy.
Cost, lifetime:
Kaspersky is costly they charge u more 59$ per year subscription. extendia is much cheaper with a price of 39$ (full package),only anti virus comes to ur doorsteps at an amazing price of 29$ and even more less with mks
Note:
Before you think of buying mks u should remember that all option in the software aren’t available in English some of them are in polski & a cumber some interface but have more bright options then kaspersky& eXtendia.
Ease of use:
The 3 software are not too very friendly for use because of their expertise then offer large number of options which u should get accustomed to. Out of three once again kaspersky is the easiest to get accustomed
Ability to detect virus at different levels:
All the 3 have very good abilities of detection even at lower levels. I prefer to use medium level in a pc connected to internet
Inclusion of extra features:
All 3 have plenty of extra features like:

Anti dialer

Anti hacker

Anti spam

Ant phishing

Anti spam

Parental control (in the internet security ver. only)

Note:
Due to lack of time we unable to feed the reports how the other 7 viruses have been select but I assure u that legitimate practical tests have been conducted before we gave them there place

Amazing fact:
The interesting fact is that f-secure hires its core engine from kaspersky
Norton which was at the top a few years back was a big installation and even today
It hogs lots of pc resources

Viruses
Programs that infected other programs, adding their own code to them to gain control of the infected files when they are opened. This simple definition explains the fundamental action performed by a virus - infection.
Worms
This malicious program category largely exploits operating system vulnerabilities to spread itself. The class was named for the way the worms crawl from computer to computer, using networks and e-mail. This feature gives many worms a rather high speed in spreading themselves.
Worms penetrate a computer, search for network addresses of other computers, and send a burst of self-made copies to these addresses. In addition to network addresses, worms often utilize data from e-mail client address books. Some of these malicious programs occasionally create working files on system disks, but they can run without any system resources at all (with the exception of RAM).
Trojans
Programs that carry out unauthorized actions on computers, such as deleting information on drives, making the system hang, stealing confidential information, etc. This class of malicious program is not a virus in the traditional sense of the word (meaning it does not infect other computers or data). Trojans cannot break into computers on their own and are spread by hackers, who disguise them as regular software. The damage that they incur can exceed that done by traditional virus attacks by several fold.
Recently, the most widespread type of malicious program damaging computer data has been worms. Then follow viruses and Trojans. Some malicious programs combine features of two or even three of these classes.
Adware
Program code included in software, unbeknownst to the user, designed to display advertisements. Adware is usually built into software that is distributed free. The advertisement is situated in the program interface. These programs often also collect personal data on the user and send it back to their developer, change browser settings (start page and search pages, security levels, etc.) and create traffic that the user cannot control. All this can lead to breach of the security policy and to direct financial losses.

Spyware
Software that collects information about a particular user or organization without their knowledge. You might never guess that you have spyware installed on your computer. In general, the goal of spyware is to:
trace user actions on a computer;
gather information on the contents of your hard drive; in such cases, this more often than not involves scanning several directories and the system registry in order to compile a list of the software installed on the computer;
Gather information on the quality of the connection, bandwidth, modem speed, etc.
Risk ware
Potentially dangerous applications include software that has not malicious features but could form part of the development environment for malicious programs or could be used by hackers as auxiliary components for malicious programs. This program category includes programs with backdoors and vulnerabilities, as well as some remote administration utilities, keyboard layout togglers, IRC clients, FTP servers, and all-purpose utilities for stopping processes or hiding their operation.
Yet another type of malicious program that goes along with programs like adware, spyware, and risk ware is programs that plug into your web browser and redirect traffic. You have most certainly encountered such programs if you have ever opened one web site when you thought you were pulling up another.
Jokes
Software that does not cause a host any direct harm but displays messages that such harm has already been caused or will result under certain conditions. These programs often warn the user of dangers that do not exist, such as messages that pop up about formatting the hard drive (although no formatting actually takes place) or detecting viruses in uninfected files.
Root kits
Utilities used to conceal malicious activity. They mask malicious programs to keep anti-virus programs from detecting them. Root kits modify the operating system on the computer and alter its basic functions to hide its own existence and actions that the hacker undertakes on the infected computer.

Other dangerous programs Programs created to set up DoS attacks on remote servers, hacking into other computers, and programs that are part of the development environment for malicious programs. These programs include hack tools, virus builders, vulnerability scanners, password-cracking programs, and other types of programs for cracking network resources or penetrating a system.
